The pratese estate produces wine in the carmignano area in the heart of tuscany, a zone which has had a vocation for producing quality wine since medicean times.

In fact it is one of the four production areas included in a medicean public notice of 1716, in which cosimo iii de' medici marked off the areas suitable for quality wine production: carmignano, the upper valdarno, pomino and chianti.

The pratesi estate is a young company, but stron
Gly motivated in research and the production of high quality wines.

For these reasons that since the first harvest in 1983 the company has invested a great number of resources both in machines and in new vines (10,500 plants per hectare), increasing the production to the current 50,000 bottles of wine.

Advice from the enologist stefano chioccioli and the development of a new completely underground cellar has allowed the company to further improve the quality of its three red wines:
